Janine K. Jeffery
Janine K. Jeffery is an experienced trial lawyer and founding partner of Reily & Jeffery, in Los Angeles, California.
Ms. Jeffery graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Southern California Law School (1983) where she was a Hale Moot Court competitor. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine (1980).
Ms. Jeffery has served as lead trial counsel in numerous significant tort cases involving medical malpractice, aviation, product liability, business tort litigation and actions involving civil rights and major personal injuries. Prior to founding Reily & Jeffery, Ms. Jeffery was a partner at Quinn, Kully, & Morrow (which merged with the international law firm of Arnold & Porter in 1996).
Ms. Jeffery is a member of the State Bar of California. She is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts. She has been rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.

Oren Rosenthal
Oren Rosenthal is a seasoned attorney with a wide array of civil, administrative, and criminal law experience. He began his legal career at the prominent international law firm of O’Melveny & Myers, working on large-scale complex commercial litigation and white collar cases. He brings impressive advocacy and negotiating skills to all stages of a legal proceeding.
Mr. Rosenthal graduated with highest honors from Rutgers College (1998) in New Jersey and with top honors (Order of the Coif) from the University of Southern California Law School (2003).
He is admitted to practice in New York and California state courts, as well as all California federal courts and the Southern District of New York. He is fluent in Hebrew and holds a private pilot’s license.
Representative Matters:
- Represented the special committee of an international publishing company’s board of directors in an internal investigation and resulting litigation involving breach of fiduciary duties and misappropriation of corporation assets. The investigation and ensuing civil litigation in Delaware, Illinois, and Canada resulted in the recovery of nearly two hundred million dollars for the company, and criminal convictions of the company’s former senior management.
- Authored a Motion to Dismiss in United States v. Handley, 564 F. Supp. 2d 996 (S.D. Iowa 2008), where a federal judge ruled a portion of a federal statute unconstitutional.
- Defended individuals in state and federal criminal and administrative matters. Represented clients in numerous court proceedings, including arraignments, preliminary hearings, motions, sentencing, administrative hearings, and oral arguments on appeal.
